What are my obligations as a member?Your only obligation is to participate. Toastmasters is not a service club, so you won't end up going door to door to collect donations. Clubs exist solely for the purpose of giving people an environment where they can learn public speaking skills and imp rove their confidence. You get out of it what you put into it! And what you put into it is entirely up to you. Your first obligation is to you, after that you owe it to the other members of the club to participate in helping them to form a positive environment for constructive learning and fun! Don't forget to have FUN! |
