Evaluators: The purpose of the evaluation is to help the speaker become less self-conscious and more confident in his/her communication skills. The evaluator will point out aspects of the speech that were done well along with one or two areas for improvement. The objective is to give a fair evaluation while avoiding either a "white wash" or heavily critical presentation.
